Toward the end of my fascinating college career, I had the pleasure of meeting independent author, Nikki Rae. My, my, those afternoons in the writer's lounge, passing in our work on the coffee table, still feel like yesterday. I didn't know Nikki very well at the time. We pretty much reviewed stories together and went home for the day.
I got to know Nikki the first time I picked up her work. It wasn't what I was expecting, it wasn't the subject matter that normally grips me, but I could not put it down. And that has been the story with pretty much each project I've ever read from her.
Before I could blink, we had established an amazing writer's workshop together, and the reviewing and critiquing goes on to this day. Nikki has truly helped to shape who I am as an artist and a person and to this day her work continues to impress.
If you haven't yet, you should hop over to Facebook and Amazon to acquire her latest and single best novel yet, The Crow Box.
